Phantom limb syndrome?

Various scientific theories have attempted to explain the origin of the “phantom limb” phenomenon. It is called like this when a person has a limb amputated, after which, and according to numerous testimonies, they begin to feel that this same limb continues to be in its place and, furthermore, they even claim to feel pain or itching.

Over the years and through various studies, it has been concluded that the phenomenon has its roots in the brain, where there is an area that is responsible for regulating touch and mobility of this member, which remains active, therefore that when the real nervous stimuli are absent, it usually creates them.
